Why do Usability Testing?
• People believe they understand behaviour of others based on their own experiences.
• This belief only lost through prediction then measurement (!usability tests).
• Experience changes one’s perception of the world.
• It is almost impossible to “forget” an experience and put oneself in position of someone not having
had the same experience.
• Designers of system find it very easy to use.
• More often than not, intuitions are wrong!
